Fitts's law and exiting fullscreen on YouTube
-
Feature request: make it so the "exit fullscreen mode" button on a fullscreen YouTube video is clickable when the cursor is completely at the bottom-right corner of the screen. When viewing a fullscreen video on YouTube, there's only a few things you can do, and one of them is to leave that fullscreen mode. When a target, like the fullscreen button, is in a corner of the screen (think of the Windows start button, or the white-on-red cross you click to close a window), that target is infinitely big. You cannot miss it and it is extremely easy to get to, because you can go no further than the corners of your screen. Now when you're viewing a fullscreen video in Vivaldi, that button to exit fullscreen mode is not exactly in the bottom right corner. You instinctively bring your cursor down and to the right and click, but nothing happens. You have to move your mouse slightly to reach a target that went from being infinitely large to being a definite and immensely smaller size. Same things goes for the bottom left play/pause button. Here's an interesting video explaining how Fitts's law works, for those interested: https://youtu.be/E3gS9tjACwU PS: also, this forum is really hard to read. Everything is white and borderless. It's messy in a very clean way.

I don't think this is anything to do with any browser as it depends on the YouTube coding. Firefox shows the same fullscreen exit button.
Use the escape key to exit Fullscreen.

Nope, in Opera the button is clickable at the bottom right. And of course I knew about the keyboard.

Opera 12.17 is probably showing a different version of the video.

Well then they're doing at least one thing right.

Yeah, Flash vs HTML5.
If you want this fixed report to YouTube, their problem.

Ok, now I confirm that in Opera it does let you click it.
You should have told us that it was the Chromium version, here if you say Opera we automatically think it's the Old Opera 12.
