I hate reCAPTCHA

I am having problems with reCAPTCHA. There is a help article (https://vivaldi.com/blog/troubleshoot-common-problems-vivaldi/) that has a link to "our detailed guide" on how to work around these blocks (https://help.vivaldi.com/article/user-agent-spoofing/). But the article does not exist and cannot be found with a search. How can I find the article and how can I get around reCAPTCHA?

@mgvivaldi22 @Stardust I also hate any kind of captcha but as the title of the article suggests it deals with user agent spoofing.
I don't use UA spoofer extensions. I let the browser handle that, and besides I am not sure they would would work.
There used to be a way to do this via the Developer Tools but when I tried this method the objects I was to use were not available. Perhaps deprecated.
That is most probably the reason the article was removed.

The Vivaldi user agent was changed (a while ago, now) and no longer identifies as Vivaldi!!
If you open Help/About you will see that the user agent is now (depends on version of Chromium base, of course)
"Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/88.0.4324.151 Safari/537.36"

So "spoofing" is no longer needed as that is no longer a problem with reCAPTCHA.

The most common problem now is due to blocking 3rd Party cookies.

I think one of the solution is (unfortunately) to use a 2nd browser for such sites with reCAPTCHA and google services.

@Stardust Maybe, but I don't encounter those problems with Ad/Tracker Blocking active.
I guess it could be site specific

@TbGbe I had a problem with google bombarding me with reCAPTCHAs recently. I couldn't even use google search!

Everybody hates reCaptchas, besides being annoying, they are useless against bots. Today's bots are perfectly capable of solving any Captcha better than a human.
But luckily there is Buster, an OpenSource extension, which solves reCaptchas (also the audio) with a simple click on the icon that appears in this Captcha, thus showing the uselessness of this measure against bots, reducing user inconvenience.

@Stardust , this is understood, but luckily you can avoid trackers and other undesirable ones, apart it is debatable, if it is not me, but a bot that solves the captcha.

@Catweazle I think google tracking is unavoidable when site uses reCAPTCHA but you can choose not to use such site.

@Catweazle This is so BS. The mf'ers at google have to be stopped. I'm trying to submit a question on ebay. Had a problem, installed buster, tried again - and the response was even worse. HELP

@TbGbe - Yes, help about shows agent is mozilla. But, sites like ebay and paypal still reject the browser - say I must use a compatible browser.

@mgvivaldi22 - Yes, same problem, could not ask a simple question on ebay. And, now on my phone I have to answer captcha just to do a google search. Google really needs to be brought under control.

Many sites, Google included, will throw captchas at you because IP addresses from VPNs look like suspicious activity from their end with so many people using them.

There is an extension called Buster: Capture Solver For Humans..try that...
