After reinstall windows 10 and login to my "vivaldi sync" I see lost all sync data (bookmarks, password, etc.)

(Sorry for my english.) First I would like to say thank you to make Vivaldi browser, it is very nice! I used old Opera and i was sad to saw the "new opera", and after that I was happy to saw Vivaldi...
...and after that I would like to please You to help me.
I have a "little" problem. I have "vivaldi sync". I reinstall my win 10 and after go to my sync page (after sucefully login) i see have no sync data. (upload: good, download: good). I did it so many times and it was always works (always with 2.10.1745.27 or ealier). I have no idea what happens now. I had (I hope have) so many bookmarks, passwords, notes, etc. I collect them in many years. I would not happy if all lost.
Could you help me to fix this problem please?Thank You in advance. !

Hi, some user report sync is not work properly if you log in with lowercase name instead of use the log in name was used at first time.
You get no errors but sync does not work.

I used CCleaner before 1 day I reinstall Windows 10. Maybe CCleaner delete sync data on server like the second (on right side) button on Vivaldi sync page? If it s true it s a big issue.
Anyway if will not solution to my problem it is sad. Someone collect bookmarks, notes, etc, in years and just lost all in minutes. If thought i can t trust this method, I would save my datas often.
Should say a window with "big red letters" in vivaldi sync: "Vivaldi sync is beta, please sometimes saves your datas, because all can lost anytime" or something like that.
Please write me the most responsible person s contact. I would like to ask them to explain to me how this can just happened. I think that is the moral minimum in this situation.

CCleaner won't delete your data on the server. But it will delete all your stored passwords including the Sync password if you've not changed it.
Reinstalling the OS will also cause saved passwords to break, as it relies on the Windows user ID to decrypt, and this changes on OS install.
The data is probably still on the server. Try the following:
- In Vivaldi, go to Help > About and note down your "Profile Path" directory.
- Make sure you've also noted down your Sync password and encryption key (if you use it).
- In Settings > Sync, log out of Sync if logged in.
- Close Vivaldi.
- In File Explorer, go to the Profile Path noted above. Ex:
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Vivaldi\User Data\Default
- Move (don't copy) the
Login Data
andLogin Data-journal
files somewhere as a backup. - Go one directory up from the profile. Ex:
C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Local\Vivaldi\User Data
- Move (don't copy) the
Local State
file somewhere as a backup. - Start Vivaldi
- In Settings > Sync, log back in to sync with your sync password.
Another thing to try:
- Download and install ChromePass:
https://www.nirsoft.net/utils/chromepass.html - Open the tool and see if passwords can be viewed.
You should always keep a backup of your passwords in a tool like KeePass:

That wasn t work. But I was a "little" frustrated and I felt my all data already lost, so i did silly thing. I had no patience - old mistake... I choose "reset data to basic position" after my last post, so that just gone... I don t know your solution would work or not, but looks i won t know that...

I had sync issues to. The reply about having to use the same exact username worked for me.
So the username is case sensitive. Which is such a basic programming error. This should be fixed asap.1h of troubleshooting wasted.
