I have installed only chromium-codecs-ffmpeg-extra and h.264 videos works on this page.
But i am a Debian/unstable user and i download the package from here:
http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/universe/c/chromium-browser/chromium-codecs-ffmpeg-extra_45.0.2454.101-0ubuntu0.14.04.1.1099_amd64.deb ```Version: 45.0.2454.101

Oddly enough this page works for me with 'open in new tab' or 'open in background tab' but not with 'open in new window'
Linux Mint 17.2, I do have the ffmpeg-extra package installed but not the debug symbols -
it was a package conflict with chromium-browser and chromium-browser-l10n.
i deinstalled both and installed the package suggested by Alexs, and voila, it works! :woohoo:
remember, i didn't install these packages myself, they were installed with some previous vivaldi update.
the question is: does i need them? It seems vivaldi is working fine now. -
