Toggl Track extension not opening

I installed the Toggl Track extension, which works with other Chrome-based browsers (e.g., Brave) but in Vivaldi Snapshot 3.5.2115.4 on Linux, clicking the toolbar icon just enlarges it a little - the task list doesn't appear.

@Hadden89 Bug report filed. Disabling extensions doesn't have an effect.

Update: I checked with the main release of Vivaldi - this is only an issue in the snapshot atm, so something got broken along the way.
