i not trust at based google chrome browsers, as it's doing there best to collect people's info , and even if if you tried to remove or delete browser's cookies , it clear it but not clear google cookies ,
-
also they are cooperate with facebook , to collect and catch peoples activity in web ,
-
- Both Vivaldi (and chrome) are based on chromium an open source project mostly sponsored by google. But...
...no browser can be based on (google) chrome - which is proprietary software. - Vivaldi (and other chromiums) allow to clear google cookies. Only (Google) chrome don't.
- Vivaldi is not an ad company - so they don't cooperate with FB tracking. They even removed the Speed dial entry years ago (losing a bit of revenues) due shady facebook behaviour.
- You can opt-out from several chrome/google services in Vivaldi settings (losing a bit of functions, so the choice is your there).

when i said based google chrome , i was mean chromium , i just mistaken to put the exact name , , i was mean that browser made by google company , whatever was the name is .
-
if chromium different than google chrome , but still made by google , and i not trust in google at all , i still very believe that there's some kind of collusion between google and fb , it's not about ad only , it's about collect peoples who create multi accounts even with deleting cookies, and so on ,
i not have Evidence about this , but i still believe there is some kind of collusion between them
i remember some years ago when i was talk in fb page admin while i was in there site in same time , the page admin know my account witch i was sign in to it's site , while i never told them this , i even was closed this setting in my fb account , but still they can know , but in that time it was not Vivaldi was another one i was use . -
i not meant Vivaldi and not talk about it , i mean chromium based browser
, so,, Are you sure now that if i using any other site , they won't be able to know my fb account name i use in same browser with newest Vivaldi ?
i want to sure about this please - Both Vivaldi (and chrome) are based on chromium an open source project mostly sponsored by google. But...

In Vivaldi you can activate in Settings ā Privacy Ad and Tracker Blocker and for Cookies do Disable from Third Party, so no site can track you.
On FB itself there are other mechanisms for FB admins to check who is logged in their page. That is what Vivaldi can never fix.
you misunderstood me ,
there was a shopping site i was use ,
they was there own page in facebook also
i was write them in there facebook page ,
i found they was know my account in there shopping site -
@Gwen-Dragon said in Dose last version of Vivaldi safe ? or it's contains google spywares ?:
@kimoo The shopping site may have read your facebook cookies and they knew who you are.
I propose that you use Private Window to go shopping
yes , exactly , so how can i sure that the site i was in are not able to read my cookies ?
it will be hard and not sense to open Private window at every site i want to go -
@Gwen-Dragon said in [ Privacy Ad and Tracker Blocker and for Cookies do Disable from Third Party, so no site can track you.
already did those
-
@kimoo said in Dose last version of Vivaldi safe ? or it's contains google spywares ?:
it clear it but not clear google cookies ,
That is pure cow pucky. While Fakebook and GoGGles are bad they are not working together. Now that said if you want an extra layer of security add the Cookie AutoDelete extension and the Close All & Clean extension.
-
@Gwen-Dragon said in Dose last version of Vivaldi safe ? or it's contains google spywares ?:
@kimoo I can not tell you how Facebook gives your data to their customers/associated sites.
I do not use FB and i would never trust them, they would not break privacy.i think Vivaldi team should do there investigate and see what fb cookies can do with V browser .
-
@Gwen-Dragon said in Dose last version of Vivaldi safe ? or it's contains google spywares ?:
@kimoo If you report this to them and describe step by step how to check it.
ā Please read How to report a bug for Vivaldi and report as a Security issue to the Vivaldi dev team.i already explained the problem here , and V team can V development tean can search about it it if they want
with my thanks -
@kimoo What you don't know is whether (or to what extent) the shopping site owner shares pieces of its account-number/personal-information with Facebook in concert with placing the Facebook "likes" or "open" buttons on their web page - or even the commercial arrangement they made with Facebook in setting up their Facebook page. If that's the case, then the link between Facebook and the shopping account was forged that way - cookies or browser leakage wouldn't even be needed. Given that there's a lot of money flowing between companies based on market-tracking of users' data and web-visiting habits, anything is possible or even likely. This level of tracking goes on against users, whether or not they are Facebook users - but being a Facebook user certainly makes it more effective and accurate.

That is not the way the dev team deal with such reports.
I see you are concerned about privacy with Facebook. Understandable.
But we did not get reports that Facebook can track users on other sites as in your case.
That must be something on your PC causing this. A bad extension or a external program sending data to Facebook. In the past days bad extensions were detected sending data without permission. I can not find the article in forum.
And i suggest a scan with free program Malwarebytes.that was from 2 years ago and was not in Vivaldi , also it's not my personal problem , i meant i wanted from V team to sure that sites are not able to know my FB account while i surfing it ,
note : i not use any exactions , only IDM , i not have malewares i rarely install softwares to my PC . -

@Gwen-Dragon @Hadden89 @Blackbird
this is what i wanted to say before , i was even know that they try to collect peoples activity not for ads only .
you can see here
https://www.facebook.com/off_facebook_activity/?entry_point=4
