Problem with opening new tabs
-
I've got problem opening new tabs in Vivaldi. When I open Vivaldi it has 1 tab and I can add new tab with the plus button. But when I open more tabs it disappears from it's place. It's all over the place and I have to search for it. Only when I have bar full of tabs it's again in one position.

I can't reproduce this on Windows 7 with a 32-bit installation of Vivaldi 258.3
Is your environment any different from mine (are you on a different version of Vivaldi, are you running a different version of Windows)? Are you running any extensions? Have you used any custom css that might affect the position of tabs or the tab bar?
-
I run stock Vivaldi on Windows 7.
-
So just TP4 with no extensions? You can check the version of Vivaldi you're running via Vivaldi Menu > Help > About
Snapshot 1.0.264.3 was released today. If you're running TP4, I recommend updating to the latest snapshot. Also, be sure to download the 32-bit version as it is more suited to every day use right now.

I've uninstalled Vivaldi but when I tried to install newer version I got an unspecified error
-
See what happens when you follow these steps:
- Uninstall Vivaldi (Again)
- Open your start menu, type %localappdata% into the search field (do include the percent signs)
- Find a folder named "Vivaldi"
- Delete it
- Try to re-install Vivaldi (Again)
-
I've removed Vivaldi folder after uninstalling.
Despite selecting option to remove everything during uninstalling Vivaldi still leaves some leftover files - it's lying to users. How can I uninstall Vivaldi again if I get error installing it?
-
That's a good question. For some reason I thought you'd already re-installed it. Have you tried re-downloading the installation file?
-
Yes.
-
Vivaldi, could you be more specific? Because this information is useless.
-
Thanks for not helping.
-
I've managed to install Vivaldi and here is a picture of the problem.
-
What problem is that a picture of? I fail to see anything problematic.
-
Maybe now it's more visible.

Got it. This is a feature request, not a bug.
You CAN, via the big reporter interface, also request features. https://vivaldi.com/bugreport.html
-
I've send a few bug reports in the past but none of them was fixed.
-
Patience, Padawan. Literally thousands of bugs have been fixed, and over a hundred features have been added. Everything in its time.
