A "minor bug" which could help with VB-39040 troubleshoot

Nooboss extension (a very helpful extension to handle extensions) has a zoom feature that - when changed from its 100% value - totally break the popup (of course, you still can see the option page in a tab). FIXED IN VIVALDI 3.4

While is not an important bug for the extension itself - which works fine otherwise - I'm wondering if it could help to troubleshoot the main VB itself which is quite hard to reproduce (most people don't experience it all).

Let me know if you can reproduce the issue on mac/linux if you test this.

First test:

Hi, checked on Linux and zoom work with up/down arrows and manually typed numbers.

@Gwen-Dragon It seems it was. But very hard to reproduce. I tought the addon could help troubleshooting as it seems a "rare bug".
@mib2berlin Tnx, I'll test it too on my mint VM soon. And with Vivaldi 3.4 too.

Nooboss popup zooming is fine (and even look better than M$).

May I ask to test another addon, @mib2berlin ?

Install CAD > Whitelist Vivaldi.com/vivaldi.net and let me know if the popup (still) works.
This one fails for me both in windows and linux.

Oh, that's interesting. Linux "fixed" the issue in 3.3

Hi, I have add it but I don´t want it to delete my cookies, have to re login to a lot of accounts then.
The popup from CAD icon is working, I could only find size settings for "Enable Popup when New Version is Released"

@mib2berlin You won't lose cookies if you don't enable the auto clean-up in settings.
The popup issue with this addon is triggered whitelisting vivaldi (or any other site).

The rule you did is wrong. It should something like this:

Then close any tab which point to the vivaldi site (.net/.com) and then open a new one.
If the badge is blue (=whitelisted) the popup may be broken.
If the badge is red (=no rules) the popup may be fine.

If CAD works for you, I'm still one of the very few people affected by this specific issue.

Ah, if I set it correct the popup shrink to micro size, not readable.

An umbrella feature request on CAD tracker which I hope will help to solve glitches on Vivaldi and other browsers too (which may include Opera and Brave) but mainly focused on resolve the issue popup.
Pull requests are accepted as long they don't break supported browsers (chrome/firefox/edge).
