Solved Duplicate icon

I have pinned the app to the taskbar, however its opening as another icon, not in the same icon, like you can see with Firefox and Chrome. Not sure whats happening, if its a setting that i have changed by accident.

@russelltaylor Keep the proxy pinned then

Right click on the Vivaldi icon > Right Click on "Vivaldi" > Properties
Compare the path of both shortcuts

Mine is "C:\Program Files\Vivaldi\Application\vivaldi_proxy.exe" --profile-directory=Default

For some reason the shortcut is correct, but the actual window that opens (from the shortcut) is the proxy.

Unpin the icon from the task bar, then right-click your open browser window (in the task bar) and pin that. Worked for me.
