Whitelist sites from Ad Blocking source list
-
Hello
I'm using the built in ad and tracker blocker. There is a site in all lists that I need to be whitelisted for using on some sites.
I know it is possible to disable ad-blockers on those sites, but I don't need that.
Is there a way to whitelist just few lines from the ad-block lists?

@solidsnake Doesn't "Add Exception" in Settings, Privacy, Exceptions do what you want?
-
@Pesala No. That excepts whole site from ad blocking.
I need to except all sites from one (or few) blocked servers.
edit:
I guess I can add my own local list with the exception filters, like the Vivaldi's own exception list.Anyone knows what's the reading list priority?

@solidsnake This can be done by creating your own "override" list and adding it.
See:
https://adblockplus.org/filter-cheatsheet#exceptions
https://help.eyeo.com/adblockplus/how-to-write-filters#whitelistExample:
! Title: My Adblock Filters !! EXCEPTIONS @@||todomain.org^$domain=fromdomain.org
- Create a plain text file containing the adblock code, in the directory of your choice. Under "Documents/Vivaldi" or whatever.
- Go to Settings > Privacy > Tracker and Ad blocker
- Click Manage Sources and click the + for Add list in "Ad blocking sources".
- Click the Browse/Import from file button and browse to and select the file you created.
- It should create a new entry in the list called "My Adblock Filters", might need to scroll down to see it.

@Pathduck Thank you, I just thought of that. That is like Vivaldi's own exception list is done.
Do you know how Vivaldi treats lists internally?
Does it read all selected lists and merge them? -

I have no idea how it handles conflicting filters, apart from I guess exceptions will override other filters.
Whether to add it in tracker-lists or ad-lists is up to you depending on your site settings. -
