Hi
I have just loaded 1.0.219.3 onto my Win 7 64bit system.
After reading the Blog I was looking forward to Vivaldi remembering what size I had set the UI. I changed the Ui size in settings but unfortunately instead of changing the size of the UI it seems to change the content size.

Can't verify this on Win7 X86. It performs as expected. Are you using the 32-bit or 64-bit version?
-
I am using the 64bit version
-
Ah. Well, report the bug (I can't test for it as I don't use 64-bit because it's too memory-hungry and too unreliable) at https://vivaldi.com/bugreport and the developers will take a look at it.
-
It works correctly for me in x64 version, too.

First of all keep up with the good work
Here are few bugs I encounter:
1. The little cut on the tab is visible only until the tab is activated (image attached), after that is never shown again.
2. Browser not starting maximized.
3. When trying to rearrange tabs it's bugs out and not allowing to close tab, make empty space and tab is non clickable

4. Default page zoom not working properly (form settings - > user interface scale is set to 110%) but in order the page to be 110% and remember it I have to set it on the bottom right side to 110%, otherwise is still 100% on every new page I visit.Version: 1.0.219.3 (Developer Build) (64-bit)
By the way great work with google chrome extensions they are working flawlessly

I think three versions ago Zoom setting work great, you could put the number you want in Settings and it would automatically reset every site you visit, but since then, on newer version it doesn't work. You need to manually adjust every site. Could you please fix that?

If I add one of my bookmarks to the Speed Dial it disappears from both the Bookmarks and the Bookmarks Bar.
Is that By Design? It might be confusing to some.

I have not seen this. But then, my Bookmarks, Bookmarks Bar and Speed Dial are all the same thing.
-
I have only one folder on my Bookmarks Bar for frequently used bookmarks.
I moved a couple of even more frequently used bookmarks to the speed dial, and they no longer appear on the Bookmarks Bar drop folder menu, nor in Bookmarks.
I can see the point of not duplicating bookmarks, but its not the same as Opera 12.17 where they can appear in all three places if you wish.

Weird. All of mine appear all three places all the time.

so, i hit Help -> Check for Updates, and it came up and told me about this update, I told it to download the update, and then the box went away .. and that's about it. Nothing else has happened yet. It's been several minutes. Further attempts to go to "Help->Check for Updates" result in no response, the menu just closes.
- edit: i closed, re-opened vivaldi, and hit check for updates, and it worked fine.
-
I had that exact same issue occur 3 versions back (but never before or since through all the Vivaldi version updates issued), and it cleared in the same way as you. I'm guessing there's some peculiar Vivaldi hiccup that occurs from time to time with respect to the updating process, but it may be too rare to easily lend itself to analysis.

thats wierd, can you go to vivaldi://about and check if you have the same version number?

Hi,
Vivaldi is really getting better!
Just love the new icons and general look! One small issue with maximized: a small piece of Win 7 taskbar still shows up.
Barely noticeable but in snapshot it is kind of brown-greyish
I have task-bar set to auto-hide.Vivaldi 64bit
