Font size in drop down lists - Mint Cinnamon
-
Hey guys. I'm using Vivaldi 3.0.1874.32 (Stable channel) (64-bit) in Linux Mint and like the fact that I can increase the size of the controls easily. My eyesight is impaired, so this helps. But I cannot find a control to increase the size of the fonts in the drop down lists. For example, if I use the horizontal menu, the drop down lists from any control button has tiny fonts and is difficult to read. I also use the bookmark bar and have a folder called Other Bookmarks. The drop down list from it is equally hard to read.
Is there a control built into the browser to increase font size in the drop down lists? Or will this require a custom CSS script? If it is the latter, I'm certain I don't know how to implement it.
Any help will be appreciated.

You can change the UI zoom in Vivaldi Settings → Appearance → UI Zoom if you need a better view.
The UI Zoom is at 200%. This does not affect the size of the fonts in the drop down lists in the slightest.

Here is a screenshot showing the drop down box from File.
The font size is similar in other drop down boxes.
I'm using the Cinammon desktop in Mint.

At 200% the buttons and fonts on the main controls are adequate, and I can adjust them to get larger if needed, but as I've said, the fonts in the drop down boxes are not scaling up. They have remained the same size as far as I can tell.

No, my monitor isn't particularly special. I think it dates from 2008 or so, made by Samsung and has a resolution of 1900 x 1200.

Playing with font size in the System controls will increase the size within Vivaldi, yes. But nothing is changing the size of the drop down list fonts so far.

I found a solution. In the Mint System settings--Font Settings, I switched to 1.3 text scaling factor. This blew up the size of everything in Vivaldi, including the drop down lists. Then I had to go to the controls within Vivaldi and reduce the User Interface Zoom down to 130%. This makes the controls an acceptable size and retains the larger fonts in the drop down lists.
Text size in messages is fairly large now, and I may play with the UI Zoom a little, but this combination seems to be working ok.
Thanks for pointing me towards the system controls and I appreciate all the replies, trying to help me through the problem.
