You are having crash at the website page. It's called "Dead Bird". Vivaldi does not crash, only the tab.
Can you please tell us the URL of the "other sites"?

Not the OP, but my Vivaldi stable on OpenSuse started crashing tabs a couple of weeks ago. Some sites are safe but otherwise it can crash anywhere. It crashed after log in on this page, for example. Sometimes reloading helps - right now the page is working, sometimes it doesn't. Tabs always crash on yandex image search, for example. Sometimes facebook crashes, but it's rare. It crashes on loading feedly or evernote, but sometimes reloading works.

Intuitively - anywhere where there's heavy image processing or javascript is prone to crashing, but only some particular javascript library under certain conditions.

I wouldn't say Vivalid has become unusable, but it's mighty annoying at times. Chrome still works fine.

I tried

vivaldi --user-data-dir=/tmp/ZZZ

but it still crashes on yandex, simply clicking on "images" tab on that page causes dead bird crash.

Hi, don´t crash for me on Yandex images or other pages.
I use snapshots mostly and stable for testing only but no crash.
