Equivalent of Tab Mix Plus (opening in new tab)
-
Hello, I currently use Firefox with a much-needed extension : Tab Mix Plus. With this extension, I can automatically open a link (from bookmarks for example) in a new tab. Is it possible to have the same thing in Vivaldi ? Thank you. David.

A I'm sure this is on the todo list.
In the meantime…

Well, I'd like not to use the middle button…
If this is on the todo list, I just have to wait
Thank you.
David.

This was an option in Presto Opera, can't think it won't show in Vivaldi. Quite a few features in TMP were options in Presto Opera, so I expect them to show in Vivaldi, but I'm not on a hurry for those.

Back in the old days, Tab Mix Plus was promoted as being the extension to use to give Firefox the ability to do tabs like Opera.

You could just hold down ctrl- as you click whatever you are clicking. It doesn't take very long, and then you're doing it automatically

Doing it with a simpler single Middle-Click,
After some months spent here on the forum I'm amazed by the number of users that has never used the middle button.

ctrl-click seems to be the standard in all browsers for new tab, so it's not really relearning for many people.

It's standard on Mac world, where click+ something was mandatory.
After almost 2 decade spent with one button mice, they still have to get used to more than one button, not to mention three or more
Multiplatform browsers did the rest, but personally I don't mind to use two hands when I can use a single finger.

Middle-click a link - Open a new tab and switch to it immediately. This feature is very missing! - Simple one click!
However, the middle-click the tab bar closes all open tabs.
If you have too many tabs open, and there is no free space on the tab bar, it does not work.
But this in any tab by right-clicking the drop-down context menu where there watching
"Close all open tabs" option.
