Google search result shows in a different format
-
@ilp0000 You are welcome.
If the page loads correctly in other browser, it's mostly google is blocking Vivaldi full access to all features.
I sorry for the issue you are having.
Keep in touch -
@Gwen-Dragon Hi Gwen, I use a lot of extensions; I use Vivaldi in English and google in Korean. Are they any related? I wanna go back to old google....
-
I had that, too, after I updated to 2.7 stable. Suddenly those icons showed up. But after like two or three days they weren't there anymore. Maybe Google is messing around, testing something, or whatever.
-
@VVivid There must be something enabling the new bugging format. Anyone knows can I go back to the good, old day? Google search doesn't tell me the answer, paradoxically.....
-
@ilp0000 The issue is the difference of how the results are displayed.
Out of curiosity, does the difference apply to results as well. -
@lamarca does the layout impact on results as well? Darn! Anyhow I wanna go back, and I cannot believe Google search doesn't show any result to change. Maybe impossible.
Does Google follow MS? I wish Vivaldi does not follow Explorer.....
-
@ilp0000 no, it doesn't, of course.
Google sends the records, Vivadi receives and loads of your query. Honestly, I don't have a solution, maybe a volunteer comes up with a fix.
I am sorry for the google issue you are having.Edited: grammar

@lamarca you don't need to be sorry. I just wish Vivaldi keep going in the direction of users' favor.
Does someone know how to solve this issue? In my chrome, it still shows the old layout, which means there must be a way to go back. Or google might detect the engine then give a different layout. Is it possible?
-
@ilp0000 Deal.
The solution is to disguise Vivaldi, they (Google) are good. During 3 weeks, my mouse lost the focus of the search box.
From the Vivaldi Help PageFrom time to time a website will decide to block Vivaldi users from accessing their pages
The article, very handy, btw.

@lamarca Awesome!!! Now I went back to old layout!!!
I deleted almost 20+ google cookies - I don't know what makes the layout change - , then the layout came back! Thanks, Lamarca!Voila, Vivaldi!
-
Darn, now the new layout came back as soon as I logged into gmail. So my gmail account must incur the new layout. But curiously with gmail login in Chrome, the old layout maintains. Do I need to give up using gmail in Vivaldi?
-
@ilp0000 You are most welcome. So we by pass Google trench.
Cheers from Rio -
@Gwen-Dragon Sincere thanks for your all efforts. But then, what is the point? Are there any other factors on my PC enabling the layout? What I am doubting is "Notifier for Gmail" extension, as it is related with the Gmail. Or what would you suggest?
