CTRL+LEFT ARROW goes back in the history
-
Do you know if it is possible to disable the CTRL+LEFT ARROW shortcut key, somehow? thank you, newscpq

You can customise the keyboard shortcuts in the settings under Navigation - I set "back" to be Alt+Left.
But I think this is a bug - when I'm typing in a field, Ctrl+Left should jump back a word, whatever it does the rest of the time.

Yes, it's a very aggravating bug. When focused in any text field, including the Address Bar, Ctrl+LeftArrow and Ctrl+RightArrow will go Back or Forward in tab history, if the active tab has a Forward or Back history (if not, they both work as expected: left or right one word at a time.)
It makes typing in any text field or the Address Bar a very precarious proposition for any touch typist who automatically uses those keyboard shortcuts before even realizing it. I'm starting to get Ctrl+LeftArrow PTSD! :pinch:

This is a known bug in build 1.0.135.2
-
~~it seems the bug disappears with a fresh install: I didn't try it, yet, but @wojcieche told me he fixed it this way…
~~I've just installed version 1.0.138.4 as fresh, but the bug is still there
