Vivaldi stuck in debugger
-
As soon as developer tools stops at a break point or pauses on caught exceptions it is unable to control Vivaldi. I can't click anything inside the tab whether in developer tools or the website itself. It is possible to switch to an other tab but even there it is impossible to click anything. The only left possibility is to press F5.
This behavior started with the update to Vivaldi version 2.6.1566.40 (Stable channel) (64-Bit) from version 2.5.?

@Gwen-Dragon Oh yes this seems to be similar. I didn't found this topic. Just to be sure: In my case it is not possible to click anywhere not just the developer tools but even other tabs aren't working anymore.

I have the same issue after upgrading to 2.6 (stable). Since I'm a developer this forces me to go back to Chrome
-
Only happens with docked toolbars
-
I have found workaround.
- open debugger (F12)
- open debugger settings (F1)
- set checked "Disable paused state overlay"
You will loose that shading when debugger hits breakpoint, but you will be able to use it normally.
Btw, this issue is bugging me for a long time, I think it is about time to be fixed. As @lapitzasclub said, it is only affecting if you have debugger docked.

@draxcp6 sadly this doesn't work if you set the breakpoints in your IDE.
When setting breakpoints directly inside the developer tools this works. -
I got the latest version (as of at least 11h ago): 3.0.1874.33-1 and I get this issue.
In my case, it renders a variety of interactions (e.g. clicking buttons) impossible (even on other tabs, like trying to log in here).
I tried @draxcp6 's workaround but the issue is as bad as I can't even access the dev tool settings (and F1 isn't the right keyboard shortcut).Note: this has been repeatedly happening once I go on the same URL (https://localhost:1234 where a breakpoint was left and couldn't be removed since, from the devtool).

@Berkmann18 try to close the tab and open another one, where you don't set breakpoints. Then you can adjust the settings.
