Extreme poor Font Rendering
-
After over a year i tried again vivaldi. And what i have to say... the front rendering i still poor and crap.
On the picture you can see FireFox 52 (own render engine) and at the bottom vivaldi.
The Font looks blurry and washed out. Its not a clean sharp font like in FF. You can clearly see there are too many white dots in the Font from vivaldi. Why? And it does NOT have to to with the Windows ClearType. The font looks only in Vivaldi so poor.
Disabling HW acc. and disabling "accelerated 2D canvas" change nothing. Is it so hard to make the Fonts nice and crisp like on a newspaper?

I don't know what happens to you but for me it's the exact opposite, Vivaldi has more nicer font rendering for me than Firefox 66, this same post for example I see all chars rendered uniformally correct in Vivaldi, while in FF I see some chars way thinner than others.

(obviously don't look at the stretched images to compare, as they will look blurry, but save them and look at them with original size 1280x1024)
But then I see you use FireFox 52 which is way older. -
Yes, it's not Vivaldi's fault. I switched from Firefox 2 years ago and also noticed how blurry Chromium fonts are. Got used to this within a week.
Font Rendering Enhancer extension makes the situation somewhat better.
