Bug: Google Groups mouse click
-
Using Vivaldi go to Google Groups (https://groups.google.com). Click any of the groups at the left sidebar (to have their messages displayed at the right panel). Move the mouse to the messages section. Vivaldi will "select" all the text, as if you are keep pressed the mouse button.
Google Chrome and Opera are working as expected (also Firefox, etc). Only Vivaldi has this behavior.
I have a Logitech wired mice (http://support.logitech.com/en_in/product/m100r) with driver installed.
Thanks! -
I´ve checked and I don't have any Logitech software installed ...
I´ll try on another PC and then inform the findings.
Thanks -
I can confirm the bug.
Scenario:- Windows 7 32 bits clean install (VirtualBox PC)
- Vivaldi 1.8.770.56 32 bits
Steps to reproduce:
- Go to https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/pyafipws
- Click on the left over "PyAfipWs Factura ..." (release the button, a plin and simple click will be enough)
- Move the mouse pointer over the right area.
Text will be selected as if we are keeping pressed the mouse button

@jbrugger Please report the issue as a bug.
Done. Thanks for pointing me out the correct way to report bugs.

I think this has either resurfaced or never went away, though because I've been using groups on and off for a while I think it maybe was dormant for a while. I see exactly this behaviour in the current version (as of November 2018) and I just filed VB-46250 to get it on record. Almost exactly as described in this post, and applies on both Windows 10 (Surface pro 4, pen as mouse) and Windows 7 (Dell laptop, regular Dell mouse).
