Hmmm. That's really weird. I tried logging out of sync and wiping it a few times. Still can't get it to get it to get off the ... loading

today is not working for me either. how do i delete the server data without trying to sync again? i would like to avoid any possible crossover?

Ye it's still not working for me (was hoping the maintenance would fix it but oh well...). I've uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times, but it always fails to commit the sync data...

I've asked Hlini for server logs. I'll come back to you when I've had a look at those.

I've been having the same problem. I've got 4 installs going in different places, but only 1 of them was having the issue the last time I checked. Linux Mint on a Chromebox was working fine the last I used it, both instances on my dual boot personal laptop work fine, but my work laptop seems to have issues. It is running ESET antivirus, which I've heard can cause some issues with Vivaldi, but the antivirus logs don't mention blocking anything and I had no issues until a maybe a week ago. I tried logging out, shutting down, logging back in, etc... Yesterday it would retrieve the data, but not upload. Today it won't connect at all.
I'm on a Verizon Mifi at work. It also didn't connect tethered to my phone which is on AT&T... I'm going to take it home and try it on that network this evening...

We found out while investigating that the load balancer for sync was having some issues and it got restarted. I don't know if that was the source of any issue reported here, but do try again and let me know if it fixed the issue for you.

@julien_picalausa Nope, that didn't work...I have 5 machines that are failing sync. Reset data this morning and increased password strength.

Yup still not working on my end. Tried with password encrypted sync and without still no change.

Well, it's more consistent... not working on any of my machines now. It asked me to log out and back in, but it won't progress past "start sync".
Also, the Akismet spam filter is out of control... Yes, I use a VPN service: it is a legitimate privacy protection and I can't help it if there are bad actors sharing my IP address!

Yep, it seems like a mixed bag for me... sometimes it won't log in, sometimes it will download but not upload, and some times it will appear to be working on the settings page, but never gives me the cloud icon to look at my other instances.

According to Hlini, something is affecting server performances badly, but we don't exactly know what is happening yet. We're working on the issue.

This is weird. Sync still doesn't want to work on my machine. Already submitted a bug report with all requested details. Is this issue just on my PC or do others still have issues?
