How to disable the new Windows Push Notifications?
-
Is there a way to revert to the old Push Notifications, which are provided through the browser itself and not your Windows notifications?
I find the Windows ones highly obnoxious and I have no interest in switching to the Windows based ones.
Thanks a lot in advance!
Vivaldi Version: 2.1.1337.36 (Stable channel) (32-bit)

@gwen-dragon said in How to disable the new Windows Push Notifications?:
Try this (untested)
Openvivaldi://flags#enable-native-notifications
Set to Disable
Restart Vivaldior try this (untested) with
vivaldi://flags#enable-message-center-new-style-notification
That seems to have done the trick. Thanks a lot!
(Edit: The first option worked for me)

This no longer seems to be possible. Is there a way to disable native notifications on 3.3.2022.47 (Stable channel) (64-bit)?

@Gwen-Dragon That didn't seem to do the trick, unfortunately.

@Gwen-Dragon Using the same online tool, I get no notifications (after allowing them). Strange
This is on a completely fresh installation of Vivaldi by the way. -
@Gwen-Dragon Just did a complete Windows 10 re-installation (it was that time of year anyway), and with everything default, I still can't get the in-browser Push Notifications to work, also when following your suggested steps.
