Please teach it What versions of Windows are supported by Vivaldi ?
-
Correct me if I am wrong, but I would say it's safe to say whatever versions Chrome supports since Vivaldi as it is right now is pretty much based off Chromium/Chromes platform. Windows 8, Windows 7 for sure, however perhaps Vista and XP too? I have not tried it myself but I know some on here have even installed it and are using it on the Windows 10 preview release.
I haven't tried Vivaldi on XP yet (the monitor of my XP machine died the day before Vivaldi was released).
But I can assure It works perfectly from Win 10 x64 (build 9926) to win 7/win server 2008r2.

I have it running on Windows XP 32 bit and Windows 8.1 64 bit.
Works fine on XP 32, will try it on 64 bit later this week
-
Which patch level of XP? I know Opera/Blink require SP3, so there's a chance Vivaldi does also.
-
I can confirm Vivaldi run well on Windows XP (32bit) SP3

Sorry for my English.
I tried install Vivaldi browser on my desktop under Vista x64 and nothing as result.
What's wrong? -
I have Vivaldi installed Windows 10TP Build 9926 and it is working great.

Please forgive me for my previous post

Perfect. I am very glad for you. What does this have? Must I say you now what I have a car and it is working great?
You don't have to say anything. @GUUM has responded to the title of the thread by reporting and confirming a version of Windows that Vivaldi has been seen to work in. On the other hand, you've indicated a problem with your Vista installation. That's really all this thread is about…

You are right. I apologize for my behavior.

Vivaldi shoud have a simple downolad page, without java and other stuff. If you have a fresh XP install (I know it is old), and you want to download vivaldi to use it as default browser You can not, couse IE6 (the default browser on the fresh install of XP) can't diplay the site. I have to download something else (FF, Opera12 etc) to reach Vivaldi download page!
https is a problem too, couse the expired root certificates. After you install ~300 upgrade and SP3 to the XP it will be fine, but till…Thanks!

Vivaldi is unusable for me on old PC.It keeps on using 100% cpu, After some time the cpu usage goes down but it again rises on just slight movement of mouse.Other browsers(chrome, firefox, opera blink) work fine on this PC.
