@gwen-dragon Hello, I've searched for a resolution of this on the forum but couldn't find anything (nor specifically about the VB-12096). Is there an update on this issue?
Thanks in advance for any information that you could have at your disposal. -
@ornorm Apparently the bug report has been closed for Windows version of this bug.
(VB-42175) Preferences Dialogue Opens in Wrong Position from Secondary Monitor
Closed (Invalid) since this is a Windows issue not a Vivaldi bug

@pesala Thanks for the information Pesala. It's strange that it seems to be related to Windows because, with Firefox, I don't encounter the same behavior. Do you know a bit more?
Thanks in advance. -
@ornorm The options in Firefox open in a tab, not a dialogue. If you open the Page Info dialogue in Firefox from the secondary monitor it opens on the primary monitor.
Similarly, if you open the Page Info dialogue from the primary monitor, it opens on the secondary monitor. So, this looks like a feature, not a bug.

@pesala Ok, sorry, I wasn't specific enough about the behavior. It's true for settings but, if we try with "Check for updates..." in Vivaldi and "About Firefox" in Firefox, Vivaldi dialog box opens on the wrong monitor while Firefox dialog box opens on the monitor where Firefox is active.

@ayespy said in What is the status of VB (=already reported bug/issue)?:
(VB-53678) Settings Dialogue Open at Right Edge of Window on Portrait Monitor - Cannot Reproduce
This is easy to reproduce on the latest Stable and Snapshot.
Also true for Check for Updates Dialog
