@ornorm What does classical music really mean? It embraces music from the late 18th century to the 20th century (to some extent), but it also encompasses contemporary music (Glass, Reich, Mantovani, Cage, Dusapin, Silvestrov…etc…) and ancient music too. You'll find contemporary and ancient music recordings in classical music department, you'll hear both on classical radios (e.g. France Musique, Musiq3). To cut a long story short, @kahukura was first.
