How will updates be delivered?

Hello Vivaldi community. Installed vivaldi on my Ubuntu 14.04, testing and I see it needs a lot of work yet. (Keep it up guys!) So, how are updates delivered? Is there repo so we can add using apt-get or maybe email notification saying: hey, new version is available on vivaldi.com, go download deb file.

The next version of the deb&rpm will configure a package repository that will keep Vivaldi up to date.

Thanks for your quick reply, Björgvin. Glad to see that there is a developer thinking about us Linux users.

Hey guys,
Greetings from Portugal!
I've just installed the Vivaldi browser for Linux (64bit, in Ubuntu 14.04), and it runs smoothly.
I even made some stress tests, and some load tests, to browser in order to measure is performance, and so far, the results are very positive. It still has some features, like the old Opera (v12.XX version), like the hability of groupping tabs (that i love), but with a lot better performance.
I can see that a lot of work is still need to be done, but the mindset and the spirit from the "old" Opera team, is still here … and for me, that is one of the most important things.
I'm very glad that a package repository will be included very soon.
Now i can uninstall the Opera v12, in prol of this amazing piece of software that Vivaldi is.Keep up the good work guys!
Let me know if i can help you out in anything!Regards,
Hugo -
Hi,
We are not going to prioritize any platform. Linux is just as important to us as Windows and Mac OS X
