[Resolved] Clicking link in email causes Vivaldi to close and then open with only that link
-
Not just links in email, a link in another program (e.g.: to a help website).
For the last week or two, when I click a link in email or some other program vivaldi will close completely, then open with just the tab for that one link. All of my other previously open tabs are gone. IIRC, when this first started happening, vivaldi would close and then reopen with all prior tabs open, and the link open as a new tab. It was weird, but not horrible. Now that it's summarily closing every open tab, it's pretty horrible.
Is this a Vivaldi thing or a Win10 thing, or a my configuration thing? I really don't think I changed a setting anywhere, but I may have. I put up with it for a while, figuring it was just a glitch and would get fixed in a new revision, but now I'm wondering if there's something I have set wrong and need to fix myself.
Just have no idea where to start looking. Any ideas?

@less-tx This is supposed to have been fixed. What is your Vivaldi version number?
-
@ayespy 1.15.1147.21 (Official Build) (32-bit)
-
that's a snapshot version which likely has still that bug, update to stable 1.15 (1.15.1147.36)
-
@less-tx If you want to stay on the snapshot stream, pretty sure the more recent snapshot, 1.15.1147.32, has the fix.

@ayespy Thanks! Downloading the update now. Pretty embarrassed that I didn't check that first. I made the assumption that I had autoupdate all sorted. You know what they say about assumptions. DERP.
I'm on snapshot so that my desktop and laptop have synced bookmarks.

Updated to latest snapshot, tested links from email and an application, all working properly now.
THANKS!!!! -
