Need an option to disable mouse middle button auto scroll
-
For Vivaldi to be usable with the last generation of Thinkpads and Thinkpad keyboards we need an option to disable middle mouse button auto scroll.
There is a Chrome extension that does that but it's not very reliable.Having a setting for that would be great.

have you tried settings/tabs/tab features/switch tabs by scrolling?
-
@iAN-CooG That's something else..
-
ok, for a moment I thought you wanted to disable TAB scrolling, my bad.
-
@Slion I assume you must be using Windows or Mac? In Linux, sadly, no chromium-based browser's middle-click auto-scroll works natively, so i have to use https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/autoscroll/occjjkgifpmdgodlplnacmkejpdionan?hl=en-US [unlike you, i like & want this function!].

solution: install linux!1 (sorry, I couldn't resist)

@iAN-CooG Yeah, i had a mind to self-deprecatingly say the same thing, heehee. i gotta say, when i first migrated to Linux from Windows a few years back, this discovery really shocked me; it never crossed my mind that i'd lose that basic functionality. Thank goodness for that extension; phew.
