It's very easy.
Type on the address barchrome://settings/languages

I saw that one but there is no option to disable the check.. only to remove and change the order of languages. After removing the languages accept Dutch (my native, which cannot be removed) Vivaldi keeps checking. jjjjddd see the red doted line....

Of course Vivaldi can disable the spellchecker.
Can you see a slide blue? Then move it tho the left side. -
@okkehel Unfortunately, I haven't found a way to disable spell checking in Vivaldi on macOS.
In Chrome on macOS, it's done by unchecking an option on the Edit / Spelling and Grammar menu.
Vivaldi doesn't provide this but I'll check with the developers next week to see if it can be implemented easily.

That's a surprise for me.
What dochrome://settings/languages
open for you? -

chrome://settings/languages
Vivaldi (and Chrome/Chromium) on macOS are different. In the Chromium language settings, it just says "Order languages based on your preference"; there's no "Spell check" setting.
With Chrome, spell checking is enabled or disabled via the "Spelling and Grammar" options under the "Edit" menu. Vivaldi doesn't provide this.
A bug requesting this feature (VB-22298) was filed ages ago. I've noted that lots of folks here have been asking for this. Hopefully it won't be too difficult to implement.
