SSL internal site, unable to access 1.15.1125.3
-
Updated to 1.15.1125.3, I'm now unable to access an internal SSL site, I get a Privacy Error in the tab, but I'm unable to see the screen where I can select to continue, as this is internal it is always going to have a bad cert.
If I open tools (F12), then I do get the screen with a "NET:ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID", but I can not click either button to continue to the site, as I normally would.
In fact I can not select or click on any element of the page, previously this has never been an issue.ERIC

Wondering if it still works
If the error is different, I can't help, I'm not expert with certs. -
Similar here. Managed to shoehorn access to my SAN-cited internal (intranet) SSL server. Browser's address bar shows a broken (red) padlock for my LetsEncrypt cert. Whereas the only actual web site cited on that cert shows properly with a green padlock. Vivaldi 1.15.1125.3 (Official Build) (64-bit) seems not to like SANs?

@gwen-dragon said in SSL internal site, unable to access 1.15.1125.3:
@piran If you have a valid SSL certificate and your CA or cert is registered in your Windows certificate store (Trusted root certs) all is fine.
Well... not quite all. The browser, for instance, is not fine. It used to show my server's SAN-citation as a proper green padlock and not put me through all the pointless over-inflated 'warnings'. My post was effectively a request for the browser to be fixed:-)

@gwen-dragon Warning? Confused. The over-inflated dire messages or the incorrect colour padlock? Browser's (new) handling of cert is incorrect and needs fixing.

@gwen-dragon Good point. Standby... I may be some time. Too much too new. Recent bare metal rebuild of due to MS not upgrading my kit properly into the mandatory 1709 ...since OCT last year. Have only one browser loaded (Vivaldi). Struggling on all fronts all at once:-| Will leave this one until later as I prefer my old public/private key access route anyway. Will update post later when more is up, running and settled.

@gwen-dragon Me again. You were right. I Should've read the Chrome65 highlights. Too many overrides too many re-directs. Now have my green padlock and correct SAN handling for server:-) And without having to install Chrome... Much prefer the way V does things. Keep up the good work. Now, back to hordes at the gates...

@egandt same here. I cannot acces the configuration page of my router, using a self-signed certificate. This snapshot just doesn't give me the option to bypass the security warning, if it displays that at all. Most of the time no page gets loaded and the tab just says privacy error. This happens on al devices on my network with a self-signed certificate.
