      After updating 1.13 to 1.14 the browser always starts without any elements in the window.
      i have tried remove ~/.config/vivaldi dir, but it doesnt help.

        If run it from terminal, this is output:

            @gwen-dragon run with vivaldi --disable-gpu doesnt help. the same result with the same output in the shell:

              @gwen-dragon ive tried to logout/restart then remove the files and run vivaldi or vivaldi --disable-gpu. always result is blank screen. first run after removing the files there is one more row in output:

                @gwen-dragon both: "vivaldi" and "vivaldi --disable-gpu".
                ContextResult::kTransientFailure: Failed to send GpuChannelMsg_CreateCommandBuffer. - this string appears only with run without --disable-gpu parameter. during run with --disable-gpu parameter output contain only 3 rows

                    Hi , today i cleaned profile dir one more time, then run vivaldi from command line with options vivaldi "--disable-gpu" "--display=" , and now it works well.Then i return my old profile dir to .config dir and it still working. Many thanks for the help.

                        Same problem on Ubuntu 16.04.3. I reinstalled following the instructions above. Nothing changes. Here are the errors I see:

                          Hi, I had the same problem on Linux Mint 18.2 and succeeded to fixed it on the latest version of Vivaldi.

                          In my environment, the problem seems related to timezone (as shown in your error log). Latest Vivaldi seems to have changed the way handling it.

                          The solution is one of below:

                          1. Set environtment TZ and start vivaldi.

                          eg. (export TZ=JST+9; vivaldi-stable)

                          1. Correct /etc/localtime and /etc/timezone.

                          eg.
                          cd /etc
                          sudo sh -c 'echo "JST-9" > timezone'
                          sudo cp /usr/share/zoneinfo/Japan localtime

                          Please modify timezone to your location.

                          Hope this helps.
