Close pinned tabs
-
It'd be a bit more efficient if I could just close a pinned tab directly with CTRl+W or the right click menu.
I can always re-open the pinned tab if I accidentally close it. -
@emeraldslash
Hi, there is a setting "Close as other Tabs".
You can set "Double Click" or use context menu.Cheers, mib

Go to settings, Tabs, Pinned Tabs, and enable the setting "Close as other tabs."
-
@emeraldslash You can do that if you set pinned tabs to close like other tabs. It's in the browser settings.

This happens quite often 2-3 user gave same answer. -
@mib2berlin We sometimes reply to the post without scrolling down. And sometimes, while we are typing but get called away (as in my case) someone finishes and posts a reply. In my humble opinion, this is not the end of the forum world.

@mib2berlin Thanks, that's got really weird naming
Does this affect the 'invulnerable' status (for lack of a better name) of pinned tabs?
I just want to be able to close them normally like I can in Chrome. -
@emeraldslash Yes. It's a setting.
-
On the other hand, we have a number of users complaining that the only way they can save pinned tab from session to session is to open using prior session.
So there's a movement to not only make pinned tabs un-closable, but indestructible.
-
Well, that's annoying behavior lol
I'll see how it works out

@ayespy
Hi, sorry for OT but is it not a forum setting?
I know other forums open a short message "Other user has posted in between...." or something and you can discard yours or change.Cheers, mib

@mib2berlin Not that I am aware of.
