A little bit faster, and then it's good to go
-
@gwen-dragon That's great.
Well I'm currently trying the latest snapshot - I guess it feels a bit faster now! -
@pesala Oh, right.
But when it comes to a comparison, human mind measures even milliseconds!
I never have a lot of tabs, but I know that either way, Vivaldi is really quick about those things.
And yeah. 3 seconds won't matter. But when it comes to days, weeks and months, it will be multiplied, and sometimes we'll feel tired.
By the way, I don't + can't keep Vivaldi open all the time [hell I only got 2GBs of ram, I have so much to do too! ] -

You may like to have a look on Minimem or CleanMem.

2GB's of RAM sounds like a 15 year old computer, wait don't tell me it still has a Pentium chip too?

I only got 2GBs of ram
Then use the 32bit version of Vivaldi, that does use less RAM than 64bit.
If is using a x64 OS on 2Gb machine, should consider to install a x86 OS, it will use lesser resources.
-
@gwen-dragon Oh I didn't even figure that out!!
Thanks for the tip (32 bit). -
@blackbird I don't know if I can or can't - because my motherboard may not be compatible with it. However, I searched the internet and it said I can have 4GBs DDR2 Ram. I will consider upgrading it sometime next year!
-
@stpvid1 Hell it has
Well not 15's but it's about 9 years old with a slight graphic and 1 GB ram upgrade in all these years -
@gwen-dragon And do you mean it's better for me to use stable edition?
I don't want it to be portable tho -
You are not forced to use it as a portable version.
-
@zalex108 Yeah. And I installed the 32-bit version.
-
@gwen-dragon I'd like to use the Stable edition, but I'm still waiting for sync to arrive to Stable. And well, Snapshot also has much more!
