Empty tab slots
-
Currently using vertical tabs bar. The issue is that a hole remains after closing a tab. It happens frequently but not always.
There's no way to revert it unless closing and opening a whole new window.
The "+" (new tab) button sticks to the bottom of the window, and not immediately below the last tab when this happens.Any thoughts?

@kallon Try reselecting or changing the position of tabs in Settings.

I just had the same problem with the tabs horizontal at the top.
Yes, going to settings and changing the tabs to vertical, then back again sorts it, as a workaround.
But what we need is this bug to be sorted.
Also the "+" (New Tab) button moves off the screen to the right. -
@gwen-dragon said in Empty tab slots:
@Mike_B Thet problem reappeared in current 1.13 Stable and 1.14 Snapshots too.
Perhaps a workaround (no tested, but helped some users):
- Open Vivaldi's Settings → Appearance
- Section Window Appearance
- Disable Use Animation
Can confirm this works. Thanks.
