No cursor focus when starting Vivaldi
-
I'm using Vivaldi stable 1.13.1008.34 on Ubuntu Mate 17.10.
My start page on Vivaldi is duckduckgo.com and when I start
Vivaldi, the cursor does not focused on the search block like
it does on other browsers.
Is there any way to make the cursor focus on the search block ? -

You set that in Vivaldi Settings → Tabs in section "New Tab Page" to add DuckDuckGo as one Specific Page ?
My new tab page is already set to duckduckgo.
Even when I click on the + for a new tab, the cursor is
not put into the search block just like it's not put there
when I first start Vivaldi. -

Yes, that why i asked.
the cursor is not put into the search block
As i remember that is a known bug.
Workaround: Settings → Tabs → [×] Fokus Page content in new tabThank you very much.
That solved the cursor focus on the search box
on a new tab, however, when starting Vivaldi,
the cursor is still not focused on the search box. -
