Speed Dial avoids Adblocker
-
Hi all!
I have an adblocker extension installed in Vivaldi. But the Speed Dial doesn't use it. Is there a reason for this behaviour?

Ah, okay. I expected that the Speed Dial previews took the same way than any other website.
Thank you (from a The Bat! user )

If it bothers you, in the meantime you could screenshot the page yourself and set that as a custom thumbnail.
Not a perfect solution, but it would hide the ads.

Good idea, thanks! Another way: Using the logo or favicon of the website.

I hope it’s still on topic to ask about the tracking protection for the webpages in the Speed Dial: my “Do Not Track” and Cookies privacy preferences are still applied for Speed Dial, right?
PS: I’m also waiting for tracking protection to get an update soon, à la Firefox’s blocking of non-complying sites. I understand that’s been @Jon’s position: in general allow ads but prevent tracking.
