@danielson Yahoo sniffs and blocks Vivaldi. You have to spoof your browser UA, then reload the page, and then it will let you in (at least it did me).

@Ayespy said in Can't log into Yahoo:
spoof your browser UA
Thank you, but that's a bit beyond my tech knowledge Ayespy.
Discovered ctrl+shift+I but after that... it's all Chinese to me. -
@danielson Just install a user agent switcher extension from Chrome.

I have the same problem on another site, I can't login. I tryed with this extension but it did not help. Login is in modal window and it just closes after I submit.
Concerning tih user agent switcher extension. how can I reset to detect site like Vivaldi after I tryed to mimic some other browser?
-
@Abiel - think i have the same question 'cause the extension doesn't do anything for me (tried all three suggestions).
-
@Gwen-Dragon, thanks.
Does that mean that Vivaldi, for now, by default identify itself as Chrome? And if that is correct: why?
Does Vivaldi have it's own User Agent named "Vivaldi"? -
Switching to Internet Explorer with this extension finally did the trick:
