KDE system color theme isn't used in menus
-
I have a very strange thing here. I have two Systems both running KDE-Neon user edition (same version, same color theme settings).
On both I use Vivaldi with the same settings. On both i use my own color them, which is a red breeze variant. On my Desktop this theme gets used. On my Notebook Vivaldi uses the standard dark breeze theme. I have no clue why. Any other application is using my own theme, except Vivaldi. Has anybody an idea? -
Vivaldi uses the GTK3 toolkit for theming menus and the like, just like Chromium which it's forked from, instead of Qt, while everything else in KDE neon is mainly Qt5 toolkit Programs resulting in the Qt programs having the colour schemes affect them while Vivaldi (and other applications using GTK) do not have the colour schemes affect them due to GTK3 not being supported by KDE Plasma's applied Color Scheme.
