@kelendral You run the extension unpacked.
Try to edit the manifest.json and changemanifest_json: 3,
and reload extension.I do not have the extension, perhaps if bad luck, you have to change more in code.
I have no time and fun to debug a extension which is not my own. -
@ybjrepnfr
Agreed, Sideberry is great on FF. If they ever do a Chromium supporting version it would be great.
TT has been & is the best on Chromium based (especially good here on Vivaldi), IMO.I try to keep both major browser backends with at least one well running tree style tab supporting extension.

@kelendral said in Tree Tabs:
I don't know if the author of Tree Tabs is even doing updates anymore.
Is seems inactive on its GL account too... https://gitlab.com/kroppy

It is too bad the license has this:
NoDerivatives โ If you remix, transform, or build upon the material, you may not distribute the modified material.
Don't think a pull request would be accepted given the inactivity. I am hesitant to put in the work to bring it to MV3 if it won't go through.
It also might be a bit complicated to bring up to date. I remember that registering listeners in background service workers need to be on the main level, but they might be fine where they are currently. Hard to tell without trying it.

@nomadic looks like, then, your only alternative is to develop an infinitely-nestable tst option in
vivaldihooksrevised
.at least, that's what my neighbour's hairdresser' s daughter's budgie-cage sanitiser's uncle said.
allegedly.

@ybjrepnfr For some strange reason, you remind me of these 2 other people that used to frequent the forum. It is uncanny, you all could be identical triplets! Only logical explanation...
-
@nomadic doppelgangers are a thing, apparently.
-
@nomadic also, pls stay on topic
-
@ybjrepnfr Ooohhhhh, if you knew those 2 other people, you would understand that their whole essence of being was tree style tabs, so I think I was staying on topic. Thank you very much

@nomadic oh, see, given i'm still new here & finding my way around, i never knew them, but from what you say, they must have been crazy weirdos. glad i missed 'em!
