I see Black screen sometimes
-
Hi,
I have now version 1.7.735.46 (Stable channel) (32-bit)
OS: Windows 8.1 (64 bit)
If I open a hyperlink or when I visit a website or If i open a link from bookmark I see a black screen. I see this many times and sometimes more frequently in a day.
I had the same issue with version 1.6
Requesting Vivaldi team to fix this issue. Thanks

@Rafale: Team is unable to reproduce this issue. What can you tell us about your hardware and graphics?

I see a black screen for a few seconds a lot too. Probably because I run over 20 tabs, and it happens sometimes when my fans start to run a bit, like when run a YouTube video and I open a new link, etc. when I'm running multiple things at once. It never used to happen before 1.6

Thanks a lot Ayespy for your replies
Total Memory Size: 8 GBytesIn my desktop I tried this
Control Panel - Display - Change Display Settings - Click on Advanced Settings.
In the Advanced Settings window, Troubleshooting tab is not present, then the graphics card does supports hardware acceleration. -
@Rafale: When you go to vivaldi://flags and search "gpu raster" you will see where you can turn off GPU rasterization of web content. It's just shot in the dark to see if your system is failing to render web content with the GPU and the falling back to software rendering when you reload.
