Today is the last day of Aldi U.S.' latest German Week.
Purchased a bag of Deutsche Küche German Potato Blend. Fried potato slices with scrambled eggs, onion and spices.
Deutsche Küche is the Aldi U.S. store brand for German products they offer throughout the year.

Chickpeas with vegetables
Ingredients:
4 chopped carrots
2 chopped bell peppers
3 chopped garlic
A little paprika, oregano and salt
A large piece of diced pumpkin.
Half kg of chickpeas (Peeled without skin )previously soaked for 24 hours in cold water.
Preparation:
Fry the carrots, peppers and garlic with 3 tablespoons of Chilean olive oil for 10 minutes in a pressure cooker.
Add the chickpeas (without the water for soaking), pumpkin and seasoning and stir well.
Add boiling water until the contents are covered.
Cook for 25 minutes from the time the pressure cooker begins to steam, lowering the flame to the minimum.
