Solved Facebook feed reloading rapidly

Same thing here, just started today. Facebook jumps around. I tried Facebook on alternate browser and it works good. Now I just disabled Adblocker Plus and so far that seems to have fixed the problem.

This problem has now been fixed - as @Pathduck correctly noticed, a stale copy of the adblocker sources on our end was to blame. Once your copy of Vivaldi updates its adblocking lists, it should work as expected again. If you wish to force an update right now, you can go in to Settings > Privacy and Security > Tracker and Ad Blocking > Manage Sources, and toggle the lists that you are using off and on again.

Starting earlier today, Vivaldi fails spectacularly with Facebook.
Here's a video showing the problem. Except for a brief moment around 0:10, I was not moving the mouse. Vivaldi goes berserk in Facebook. This problem does not exist in other Chrome-based browsers or in Firefox.

I can no longer use Facebook as the page reloads about every 20 seconds. I have the latest version of Vivaldi and have tried various tweaks. Not sure if this is a Windows problem or not, only been happening since I updated Vivaldi.

I have checked for auto-update page settings but have not found anything.
I wonder if it is the facebook page itself or the browser. -
Got the same problem since yesterday, with or without extensions turned on. Facebook is not reloading in firefox.
So it seems to be a site+browser issue -
Same problem here. The feed is refreshing every few seconds on my pc, totally unusable. On Vivaldi Android facebook loads and reacts normally.

@TechByterWorldwide Same here. Since two days. Before this it wasn’t the case, so I can’t tell if it’s Vivaldi or fb or both — interacting wrong together. Are you on a Snapshot or Stable? If on Stable, I am on a Snapshot, and it’s on both, so I assume something happened with the interaction together with Vivaldi.

What happens if you try a test profile (close Welcome screen without any settings and extensions) added by Manage User button? -

I imagine it has something to do also with the last Update of Vivaldi-Stable. In the last Snapshot the same Problem. Maybe something new from Snapshot came also in the Update of Stable. -
As mentioned above, FB works OK on my Android. I reluctantly tried it out on Microsoft Edge and it works there also.
In this country, the best way to get notifications concerning my sporting events is by using Facebook... I guess Microsoft Edge will be getting more visits until this is fixed. -
Go through the Troubleshooting steps, including clearing cache+cookies:

Often a simple solution is to force a reload by hitting Ctrl+F5. Sometimes you need to clear cache and site data as well. It might work in other browsers when testing, simply because it's a fresh browsing sessions and so no cached data.

I've had to go back to Firefox for now.

@Thot I'm on stable. In addition to disabling all extensions, I also tested on three other chrome-based browsers. None of those browsers exhibited the problem.

For some reason my facebook autoscolls every 10 seconds or so.
Ive disabled all extensions
reinstalled vivaldi,and its not occurring in google chrome.
any ideas?

Same here on Facebook Ubuntu, works on Vivaldi in Windows...
