Hoo boy. I couldn't even finish this one. Putting aside the plot, I simply couldn't read it. Thanks to the publisher, the ebook format I purchased wasfull of wordsformatted qui te badly. I got this as part of a bundle of books, so here's hoping the rest of them are better.

Tad Williams, Nina Kiriki Hoffman - "Child of an Ancient City"
A short story about stories. It's stories all the way down! A pretty good story involving a group of middle-eastern travellers and their encounter with a creature. I quite enjoyed the language used - lots of Arabic terms and old English words I hadn't come across before.
