Snapshot to Stable version (feeds)
-
Hi there.
For a very long time I've had only snapshot versions installed on my computer. I've now deleted the latest snapshot version and installed the latest stable version. Everything went smoothly with the exception of my feeds. They all appear under Settings/Feeds but not in the Panel's feeds. In other words, I don't get feeds. Enable Mail, Calendar and Feeds is ticked.
Can somebody please help me to "activate" my feeds. Many thanks in advance. -
@cyberhuskey You used the previous 5.2.2623.8 Sapshot profile for the now installed 5.1.2567.73 Stable? Such downgrade can cause issues. And you should never mix browser profiles from Stable and Snapshots, always install Snapshots as a testing/beta version in Standalone mode.
I try to ask why the feeds disappear and how to get back.

@cyberhuskey And tree in Feeds panel is not collapsed?

@cyberhuskey Please check internal log:
- go to vivaldi:inspect
- select Apps
- select inspect on chrome-extension://mpognobbkildjkofajifpdfhcoklimli/browser.html
- In Developer Tools select Console
and post content here with </> button
-
@cyberhuskey Do the Feeds show up in Mail panel in tree Feeds?

- Is the feeds panel the only empty panel? (Is the downloads panel and the mail panel empty too)?
- If the mail panel is not empty, do the feeds show up there?
-
- Downloads panel empty, but works as it should do. Mail:

@cyberhuskey
Can you also check whether there are issues in
chrome-extension://mpognobbkildjkofajifpdfhcoklimli/main.html
if you check it the same way as for the browser.html one? -

-
@cyberhuskey same steps you followed above: just select inspect on
chrome-extension://mpognobbkildjkofajifpdfhcoklimli/main.html
instead. -
- go to vivaldi:inspect
- select Apps
- select inspect on chrome-extension://mpognobbkildjkofajifpdfhcoklimli/main.html
- In Developer Tools select Console
- and post content here with </> button
Edit: sorry, thought I'd sent this yesterday, but left it here on unsent (I'll put it in anyway despite @juanvase already answered)
