Vivaldi crashes download dialog
-
Hello, I am using vivladi snapshot 5.1.2526.3-1 on Leap 15.3. Till yesterday I had no problem. I have updated on sunday to last snapshot version but yesterday all worked properly.
The problem is when I want to download anything. I get a dialog to "Save" or "Save As", It offers me files and folders window, starts downloading and in a second, the dialog disappear and in download history is nothing.
I cant even save as a picture from webpage. This is the case for Save as, simple Save works.
What is also strange to me that I am using KDE Plasma but the file window seems to be from Gnome. But I am not very familiar with this enviroment.
This happens with 2514 version, also with Stable version completely fresh installation .
Any idea what to do? Thank you.

I am also having this problem. Same distro and updated vivaldi-stable. Tried all the troubleshooting steps. Nothing helps.
I addition upload dialogs also dissappear like the download dialogs, which makes it unusable for attaching files to e.g. wiki pages.Error I in the terminal when dialog opens and closes in an instant is:
[20154:20154:0107/161032.863334:ERROR:CONSOLE(0)] "Unchecked runtime.lastError: Filename not yet determined", source: chrome-extension://mpognobbkildjkofajifpdfhcoklimli/browser.html (0)Any updates?

You are right, also dialogs for attachments like in emails etc. are openning for a while and closing immediately.

Solution for Leap 15.3: downgrade packages xdg-desktop-portal-gtk and xdg-desktop-portal-gtk-lang from v. 1.8.0-3.6.1 to previous 1.8.0-3.3.1.
Solution for Leap 15.2: downgrade packages xdg-desktop-portal-gtk and xdg-desktop-portal-gtk-lang from v. 1.8.0-lp152.2.6.1 to previous 1.8.0-lp152.2.3.1.
Downgrade and lock until solution will be available. Not yet tested by me. But on that forum there are some positive feedbacks.
