However, when open a page in the workspace, page moves to "Workspaces".
Well, I feel like there's a compatibility issue with Workspaces. I used both Workspaces and otto-tabs before 6.7 and can't recall any misbehavior. Now, even with "patched" version of otto-tabs, if Workspaces are enabled it results in odd things like icons not appearing for the tabs, previous tabs not shown in the workspace and etc. I'll try to take a look at it eventually, but again, can't promise anything. For myself, I'm turning off the workspaces for now.

Something very strange is happening with the tab stacks "created" by Otto Tabs, which does not happen when you form the tab stacks by selecting the tabs and applying "Stacks selected tabs".
When scrolling, it appears that the tabs are separated from the tab stacks and then inserted. Please watch the video:https://drive.google.com/file/d/1zLaOsD6cjwU0LLwI9oWzZbfU6MofIMYl/view?usp=sharing

@barbudo2005 You don't have workspaces enabled, correct?
-
Yes I have. I am going to prove disabled.
-
The same thing happens when I have the Workspaces disabled.
-
@barbudo2005 Just to understand it better:
- You did not see it before 6.7?
- The problem is that it is visually "recreating" the stacks, but the final result is the expected one in terms of grouping/tabs/stacks and etc?
-
I mean, I probably see this visual "recreation" myself, but I just don't pay attention to it (likely because I use vertical tabs/keep the top level tabs compacted to icons). And I feel like I saw it even before 6.7...
-
1.- You did not see it before 6.7?
No.
2.- The problem is that it is visually "recreating" the stacks, but the final result is the expected one in terms of grouping/tabs/stacks and etc?
Yes and yes.
-
The problem of "recreating" tab stacks only occurs in the Vivaldi forum and I think the explanation is that the URL changes as you scroll.
-
One thing that I also noted (probably it was an issue before 6.7 as well), is that pinned tab stacks do not seem to be considered for "grouping" (at least the new tabs that I open don't land in such a stack (grouped around certain domain), if it's pinned).
-
For me that is a tremendous advantage, because what I want is that the tabs that open from that pinned tab are grouped together without including the parent tab.
-
Do you think it is possible to fix the URL change problem, which did not happen before version 6.7?
Do you think it is possible for you to involve the extension author in its maintenance?

I don't know, tbh, I lack expertise on the subject/APIs in question. Cosmetic problems do not bother me much, I'm more concerned about compatibility with the workspaces/pinned tab stacks.

I'm not sure what you mean exactly. I believe it's up to the author to be involved or not - what I can suggest is opening an issue on GitHub (https://github.com/borsini/chrome-otto-tabs/issues). I could do it myself, but that would take some time. If you have some sort of preferences in terms of what should be fixed "first", it makes even more sense for you to file the report yourself (don't get me wrong, again, I can do that, but it's not among my first priorities atm/I lack some time).

I am beginning to suffer from these very odd things.

Are you still using Otto tabs?
Did you see this post by the author?

I was puzzled by this assertion as with the patched (forked) version of @grigorye, Otto tabs with problems and serious compatibility issue with Workspaces works.

I didn't know this topic.
