Vivaldi - Finally support from SpywareBlaster
-
Today I updated my SpywareBlaster. Have been using it almost forever but despite many requests over the years there has been no support for Vivaldi.
I was very pleased and surprised to see that Vivaldi now included in this new version. For those that do not know it or want more info see the Brightfort Home page and select SpywareBlaster
I am in no way affiliated with Brightfort or SpywareBlaster, just someone that finds it useful.

@greybeard It is a veteran software for sure. When i first started using vista years ago it was available as passive protection .
Not used windows for a few years so not sure if SB is needed so much now. -
@Priest72 , it isn't. There are very good security programs, but in view of the current W10 it is known to protect quite well with the Defender itself and also with a good sandbox system, manufacturers are now more engaged in focusing on Linux and Mac (apart from Android), where good protection is still lacking, because they have never been the main targets for malware, but times change.
In W10 with the Defender and having the AdwCleaner at hand for eventual PUPs, it is enough for me -
@Catweazle Linux malware is slowly becoming more prevalent as of late.
General opinion of linux is an antivirus is not needed but an occasional scan would do no harm. -

With only 1,200 posts over 7 years, my spam radar is going off. You even created your own thread instead of burying the link in a nonsensical reply to some random thread -- suspicious. Are you sure your account wasn't hacked?
