Vivlaldi not remembering login info
-
Latest version of Vivaldi (win 7 OS) has intermittently stopped asking if I want to save login info.. name and password for "most" new sites I sign up for. Oddly it did for this forum but there are four or five other sites I recently joined and I wasn't asked to save the login info. Vivaldi also hasn't been asking to update new passwords to sites that I've changed it for security reasons.
Any ideas? tnks.

Have you uninstalled and reinstalled?
-
@harveyrabbit Are you still able to view existing passwords in Vivaldi's settings?
-
Yes, all existing passwords work and are visible on the Vivaldi password page.

@e01awunyo Not a complete uninstall but I've updated to the latest ver. twice since the problem started. To be clear, Vivaldi will accept and retain passwords to some new sites but there are about a half dozen I regularly log into that Vivaldi just seems to ignore. I did delete all cookies in case it was a corruption issue but that made no difference. eg: one site that it won't remember log in for is sysopt.com.

@Gwen-Dragon Nothing is listed there. Also other sites that are secure don't get saved.

I guess as the page is insecure (no SSL used) and thus will force not to save logins in Vivaldi.
Also, also... their regular URL does use https. I just didn't put that in the above reply because I wasn't sure if I could post active URL's here as a new member. https://www.sysopt.com/

@Gwen-Dragon Yeah sorry about that. It just started a couple of days ago. Should have used a different website as an example. I will look at the troubleshooting guide.

After the latest version update, 3.2.1967.41, Vivaldi is now asking for and remembering log in info. So the problem seems to be solved. Thanks for all your time.
