@Jobayerul Now to your issue.
Do you block cookies?
Do you have any adfilter/blocker extension?First try in Guest Window mode (hit the icon at right of address/search field) to check if your profile is broken or a extension blocks. That is a mode running with new browser profile.
-
@Gwen-Dragon yes I'm using ad blocker from the beginning of Vivaldi user. But problems facing from few days ago. Could you give me the solution by showing screenshot as if I can follow your instruction.
-
-
@Gwen-Dragon Sorry, I have tried after ad blocker removing. it does not work.
Could you check my browser by any remote control software, if you don't have a problem?
-
@Gwen-Dragon
look at the screenshot.... the resutl is zero
-
@Jobayerul This message looks like the server bit.ly blocks you as it closes the connection!
Do you
- use any security software/Desktop firewall/antivirus which scans connections?
- surf by VPN/Proxy?
Or your Internet provider filters conncetions in your country.
-
@Gwen-Dragon dear I have attached a screen record, please watch that video, then you will get at least minimum knowledge regarding your query.
I don't use none of one which you mentioned.
Same link is open by chrome browser.
-
@Jobayerul We can see from the video what happens, but not why it happens, this we have no clue of. You are the only person who knows your system and can answer the questions.
It works for other people, so something is wrong on your system and we need to ask questions to understand how your system is set up.
Please post your system information from Help > About Vivaldi.
Tell us if you're running any Antivirus/Security software. If so try disabling them temporarily.Try:
- Close Vivaldi.
- Edit the properties of the shortcut you use to launch Vivaldi, after
vivaldi.exe
add--user-data-dir=%temp%\vivaldi
- Start Vivaldi using the shortcut.
- Check if issue still appears in a totally clean profile.
Also try:
- Open a command line (cmd)
- Type
telnet bit.ly 443
<Enter> - You should get output like:
> telnet bit.ly 443 Trying 67.199.248.10... Connected to bit.ly. Escape character is '^]'. ā telnet> quit Connection closed.
