Edit of Posts

I'm an old geezer.
I make lots of typing mistakes when looking at the keyboard rather than the screen.
I also like to edit my posts to correct spelling mistakes ,change things around ,add things I can't remember or can't find just atm etc .
How can I do that if I can't edit?Thank You that seems to have fixed it !

@TyTower You should be able to edit your posts here. I gave you a couple of reputations points by upvoting your posts. Anti-spam measures would make you wait for an hour before editing a post otherwise.
I will ask a moderator to move your thread to the right forum.

"an hour before editing a post otherwise"
It's been over 2 hours and I still don't see any way to edit my post. I'm still using another browser so that may be the problem. Is there an edit button I'm supposed to see? I seem to be seeing all that others. And, yes, I am signed in. -
@MRCS There are three little stacked buttons at the bottom right of your comment. If you click on them, they should reveal an "edit" option. If you have no reputation points, your editing privileges can be limited. Let me know if the option does not appear for you.

Ayespy, I went to my testbed copy, loaded Vivaldi, and I'm still not seeing it. I've attached a screenshot.

@MRCS You have not clicked on the three dots at the bottom right of your comment. They are just to the right of the number "1" which is to the right of the thumbs up symbol.
You options will not look exactly like mine, as you are not a mod.

Okay. I thought next to the thumbs up that was a 0 and a 1. I have a good monitor, but I have to bump the zoom up to about 120% before it resolves into dots. Also, I do not sit close to my screen because that's not a good idea when you spend as many hours working as I do.
-
@MRCS Were you able to get the edit option, then?
-
@Ayespy Oh yeah. Thanks for your help.
-
@MRCS Not a problem! I know it can be difficult to discern the three vertical dots. That's why I mapped it out. I also sit back from my monitor, and initially mistook the dots for a numeral "1" as well.

@Ayespy It's good to know I'm not quite over the hill...yet.
