Jack Wallen is usually very good IMO, but here he stuffed up... lack of attention to detail unfortunately... https://www.techrepublic.com/article/how-to-use-vivaldis-web-panels/
You can also drag the Web Panel to take up more space than that of a simple sidebar. In fact, you can stretch a Web Panel such that it takes up to around 75% of the tab space. That means if you click on a link in a Web Panel'd site and you need more space to view it, you can just drag the scrollbar to the right until it has enough room. There is one caveat to this. If you resize a Web Panel, know that the new size will hold true for all Web Panels. In other words, if you resize one Web Panel, dismiss it and call forth a different Web Panel, the new one will be the same size as the last. Because of this, remember to return the panel size to its original sidebar format when you're done.
Right-click, Jack, right-click!
What did he do; review that ancient V version from a time-capsule which first had WPs sans "Separate Width"? Tsk, tsk, tsk.

@steffie Thanks a lot Steffie! By reading your post, I just discovered a feature I hadn't discovered yet (and I would still ignore if I had to base my knowledge on Jack's interview )! Yeeeepeeeeeeee!!!
Edit : Thank you again, really, I'm "playing" with the feature now by rearranging all my web panels and it is really awesome!
Just one general question about this. Apart from reading all the changelogs, is there a way/a place where all the good Vivaldi tips and tricks can be easily and visually found? It's only by participating into the forum that I accidentally discover "hidden" features...
Thanks in advance for your answer. -
@ornorm Glad it helped. To discover all V's goodies over the years, i advocate:
- Play with V, play play play. Experiment. Right-click all over the place, to see if hidden context-menu treasures emerge.
- See #1.
- Did you follow #2?
- Every new version release, studiously inspect Settings from top to bottom, then apply #1 to each new setting with which you're unfamiliar.
- Follow the Forum, of course.

- See #1.

@steffie Yes it helped.
It's a shame I can't upvote your answer several times because you really deserve it (I love your little (huge) touch of humor)!
Thanks a lot. I think I'll go for #3... hmmm... I'm doubting now. Shouldn't I go for #9? -

Shouldn't I go for #9?
Well, i'm an old Beatles tragic, & always enjoy the White Album's Revolution 9...
[Chorus]
Number 9, number 9, number 9, number 9, number 9, number 9, number 9, number 9, number 9, number 9, number 9, number 9 -
@steffie I didn't know that track. I'm listening it now. I'd like to visit your mind... just to make sure
I had to add a what are you listening to right now because of you. Sure, I'll have a good "nighne". -
I'd like to visit your mind... just to make sure
Warning. Step back now. Do not proceed. Take it from personal experience... you do not wanna be this loony!

@steffie The scene is memorable (sorry, literal translation from French so I don't know if it is correct in English)! I'm listening to Revolution 9 (Backwards) which is already strange, reading your amazing answer and laughing like a kid in front of my computer... I really don't know what I'm becoming. Life is full of new experiences (if I knew, when coming out of my mother's belly, I would live such an ephemeral and surrealistic moment, I would not hesitate a moment and scream "Let me out of here! Now!".
Thanks for this moment. -
